Stuck in a pet store
We believe that Heidi came from a breeder to a local pet store when she was about 10 weeks old. She was purchased
from the store with a stolen credit card when she was about five months old.

Heidi was bought with a stolen credit card. The woman who had her had a history of animal abuse. Heidi was
never paper trained or taken outdoors. She used to have her muzzle taped shut so that she wouldn't bark.
We figured this out the first Christmas season. Heidi went nuts trying to bite the tape as we were wrapping presents!
Over several years, she became desensitized to the sound of tape coming off the roll.
