Heidi had a different temperment than many miniature schnauzers. Because of her early experiences,
she was very timid and cautious. In fact, she didn't bark at anyone for the first six months! (We believe it was
because of the scotch tape on her muzzle) But once she became comfortable with the family, and in the house, she became
the great doorbell we knew she could be!
For the twelve years we had her, Heidi was a constant part of our lives, especially mine. I believe
that she came into my life at a time when I needed something to care for, and something to care about me.
